Adaptify is operated by Mozan Labs (“we”). This page explains exactly what happens to the files you use with Adaptify.
Tools that never upload your files
These tools run entirely in your browser. Your files are processed on your device and are never sent to us.

Tools that upload your file temporarily
Some conversions need software that cannot run in a browser. For Word to PDF and the optional “Better layout” mode of PDF to Word, your file is uploaded to temporary cloud storage (Cloudflare R2), converted on our server, and the result is stored temporarily so you can download it. The tool page always tells you before anything is uploaded.
- Your file goes straight from your browser to the storage bucket over an encrypted connection, using a link that only works for a few minutes and only for that one file.
- Files are stored under random identifiers. We do not store your file names, and our logs never contain file names or file contents: only a random job identifier and whether the conversion worked.
- Your uploaded file is deleted as soon as the conversion finishes, whether it succeeds or fails.
- The converted result is deleted as soon as your browser has received it, or straight away if you cancel or close the page.
- As a safety net, an automatic cleanup that runs every 10 minutes deletes any temporary file older than 30 minutes, and the storage itself deletes anything older than one day.
- Files are never used for any purpose other than performing the conversion you requested.
- To prevent abuse, the server counts conversions per IP address for a few minutes. These counts are kept only in memory and are never written to storage.
Data stored in your browser
If you choose to save a signature or initials in Sign PDF, the image is stored only in your browser's storage (IndexedDB), on your device; it is never sent to us. Your theme preference is kept in your browser's local storage. You can remove saved signatures at any time with the “Clear my data” button in Sign PDF, or by clearing your browser's site data. The app also caches its own code, fonts and text-recognition (OCR) language data so it loads quickly and works offline; this cache never contains your files.
Hosting and server logs
Adaptify runs on a server operated by Mozan Labs. Visits reach it through Cloudflare, which protects the site against attacks and delivers it quickly. Cloudflare also provides the temporary storage (R2) used by the conversion tools described above. The tools that run in your browser never send your files anywhere.
Like most websites, our web server keeps standard access logs for security and troubleshooting: your IP address, the time, the page or address requested, and your browser's name. They never contain file names or file contents, and they are deleted automatically after 14 days.
Tracking
Adaptify uses no advertising or third-party tracking scripts and sets no tracking cookies.
